STN series horizontal stretch wrappers
Stretch wrappers from Omori Europe are among the most effective packaging machines for the food sector. A wide range of food products are packaged at extremely high speeds using stretch wrapper machines. The STN series of horizontal stretch wrappers uses servo motor drive technology and jerk-free stretching and wrapping control to package and seal products in trays or tubs at very high speeds. This stretch wrapper can be operated in both continuous and on-demand mode. The machine is fitted with a unique film flap folding system for an attractive packaging presentation.
The STN-8500: the fastest horizontal in-line stretch wrapper in the world!
In contrast to other stretch wrappers, Omori Europe’s STN-8500 is based on a horizontal flow principle. As a result, these machines can easily be installed in an in-line configuration and operate at speeds of up to 120 packaged products per minute, or even 150 trays per minute if the right options are fitted.
Because the machine is equipped with a belt infeed system consisting of multiple conveyors that automatically adjust the pitch between the products, there is no need for a constant supply of products. The film is wrapped around the tray by a unique stretching and folding system. This method reduces the machine’s film consumption by up to 20% in comparison to other techniques, and is also suitable for PVC-free film.
Leading in the mushroom sector, and also ideal for other vegetables and fruit!
This machine is the market leader in the mushroom packaging segment. However, the Omori STN-8500 is also an ideal solution for packaging carrots, asparagus, chicken or other meat products. The film around the tray or tub keeps the product in place and guarantees product quality and colour during the entire shelf life.
Omori not only supplies the stretch wrappers as stand-alone machines, the company also offers consultancy services and installation for complete production lines. The stretch wrapper can easily be incorporated in a complete production line, such as a circulating loop system for example. We help you optimise your production process by combining different systems and fine tuning the machines to each other.
